Babysitting Course May 9

Prepare your child to become a confident and responsible babysitter with this American Red Cross 6-hour Babysitting Course for youth ages 11–16. This comprehensive program teaches the essentials of safely caring for infants and children, including basic child care, planning age-appropriate activities, promoting positive behavior, and handling common challenges. Participants will also learn emergency preparedness, basic first aid skills, and safe practices for staying home alone with children.

Through interactive instruction and hands-on activities, students will build the knowledge and confidence needed to handle real-life babysitting situations. Each participant will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course. Participants should bring a packed lunch.
